It rained on us all night and all morning. This left us with an inflated perception of our own adventurousness. We sequestered ourselves in the tent that didn’t exactly keep us dry to avoid getting more wet until about 10am. We hiked out fighting fog, gravity and a slight misery. It is always more fun to think back on hikes like these because you forget the dread of the miles ahead that you have in that moment. That’s why we keep going back.
